Excellent work by Pirates!!!!  The 7-12th grade Choir and Band were awesome.  What a great concert! 

And the 6th graders did great work with their museum night!  Huge thanks to Mr. Dobberstein and Mrs. King for organizing and leading those activities.

Congratulations to Caryjean Conley and Jacob Thomas for having artwork published in the 2013 edition of Signatures From Big Sky, the student Literary/Arts magazine for the state of Montana. 

 Carlyjean published a photograph and Jacob's collage print was published in color. Take a look at Signatures in the School Library! 

A big "Thank You" to all the many students who participated. Keep up the good work!


Remember that if you have fines or owe money, you must have it paid or you cannot check out which means you cannot gradgi-kate, well at least walk.  That means the study carol must be fixed Marshal, Michael, Travis and Morgan!  WOOOHAAAAAHAAA.

K-5 Ethos!!!

Congratulations to Camille Drewien, Hunter Davis, and Myah Berry for getting first, second, and third place respectively for their Poppy Poster Contest Entries for the Memorial Day Art Contest.


Congratulations to the Victor Pirates for taking 3rd place at State Track this weekend


Kyle Ball- Javelin- State Champion (won it on his last throw of the day), Long Jump- 3rd, Triple Jump- State Champion-  Kyle finishes his career at Victor as a 3 time State Champion. 
Zac Agee- Long Jump- 2nd place (just missed the school record)
Boys 4x1 (Zac Agee, Caleb Rich, Kyle Ball, Nate Bishop)- 6th place after being ranked 10th coming into the meet. 
Amber Ibey competed and jumped really well at her first state meet. 
Kyle, Zac, Nate, and Caleb all earned All-State honors this weekend. 
The boys team also took 3rd overall for the 2nd year in a row.

Congratulations to Emily Walling for being chosen for a scholarship to attend the Rotary Club Leadership camp this summer.
Tonight all 8th graders and parents are invited to attend Freshman Orientation to plan for High School. The orientation is in the multipurpose room from 5-6 pm. Refreshments will be provided.

Students, with the weather so nice, the limits are being pushed on the dress code.  Let's be responsible and respectful with what we are wearing to school.  FYI there is no 3" rule for tank tops!  

V.        Dress Code 
      A.   Personal appearance is primarily the responsibility of the parent/guardian and the student.  The mode of dress for Victor students shall be based on safety, sanitation, modesty and good taste.
  
      B.   The following are NOT proper dress unless specifically authorized by the administration:
            1.   Spaghetti tops, halter tops, tank tops, bare midriff clothing or transparent shirts
            2.   Clothing and accessories, including jewelry, wristband, hats etc., with offensive or suggestive sayings
            a.     Students may not wear clothing which promotes drugs, alcohol or tobacco                               products, or any clothing which has sexual connotations.
            3.  Clothing which is torn or dirty as determined by the administration

      C.   Restrictions
            1.   Shoes must be worn at all times and they must be appropriate for the class (i.e. PE, shop, etc.).
            2.   Shorts are acceptable to wear to school, under the following conditions:
                  a.    Shorts and skirts are to be at least fingertip in length.
            3.   Hats* will be removed upon entering the building during school hours.   *Hats include hoods, stocking caps, scarves, and any head covering deemed inappropriate by the administration.
            4.   Backpacks must be left in lockers.
