This week's theme is Heroes and we are focusing on our local heroes: Mr. Pings & Collin Riley

"Heroes represent the best of ourselves, respecting that we are human beings. A hero can be anyone from Gandhi to your classroom teacher, anyone who can show courage when faced with a problem. A hero is someone who is willing to help others in his or her best capacity."

A message from Kid President about heroes.

The fourth Friday in September of each year was designated by the 1997 Montana Legislature as "American Indian Heritage Day."  The bill amended Section 20-1-306, MCA; and was effective immediately. Teachers are required to provide activities and instruction that strengthen understandings and knowledge of the distinct and unique cultures, histories, and philosophies of various Montana Native American groups.

When a white army battles Indians and wins, it is called a great victory, but if they lose it is called a massacre.

Have a great finish! Its finish strong Thursday

Nothing is more important in a race, a game or anything you do than the finish.  Too many times the great efforts in the middle are erased by relaxing at the finish.  Thursdays are the end of our week.  Make it a great finish!
