Victor's Performing Arts Center: the Mary Stuart Rogers Center
After watching American Idle, the Montana Repertory Theater, and our very own Victor Band entertaining and honoring us this week, I was really struck by what an incredible facility we have here in Victor. The MSR Center is an incredible asset to our community and on behalf of the Victor students, I would like to thank all of the individuals that came together to make this a reality!

Pirates vs. Blackhawks
YIKES!!! I did not get much video on this game because there was not much of a game. Our Pirates dominated and showed incredible class, sportsmanship, and team comraderie while defeating the Blackhawks of Seeley-Swan 70-6.
Pirate volleyball v. P'burg
Our Volleyball teams represented us well! Our JV won in four and although the Varsity fell to P'burg, they played hard, never gave up and displayed great sportsmanship throughout!
Homecoming Parade 2011
What an incredible homecoming parade! The kids were great! The marching band is a wonderful touch and really makes the day! So many people must contribute in order to pull off such an event so a big thanks goes out to everyone!!!
Jr. High Volleyball vs. Corvallis
Our Junior High Girls played well against the much taller and older Corvallis team! Keep up the good work!

Varsity Football vs. Phillipsburg
Last Saturday the Victor Pirates squared off against Phillipsburg. Our Pirates came out on top 34-32 led by the outstanding efforts of our seniors. Chris Morozumi, Tyler Coorough, Kurt Manely, and Tanner Sacks all had exceptional plays to lead the Pirates to the win.
I would like to compliment and thank the players and fans for their outstanding behavior. Every sporting contest should be based on sportsmanship. The players and fans from Victor exemplified good behavior and positive sportsmanship. Keep up the good work!
KPAX presented some nice coverage of our game. Enjoy!

My First Blog
Hello there to all of you folks out in the Pirate world. If you cannot tell from the title of this blog, this is my first experience at blogging. WOW! The first question that everyone ask me this time of year is "Well Dan have you started back to work yet?" The answer is yes, I am happily working with our new Supt. Lance Pearson and the rest of the crew planning for the start of the year. The Pirate football team started practice last Friday and the volleyball team started on Monday. Those schools in our conference had better watch out this year. We/I am very excited about this year with a focus on student achievement based on the three R's: Rigor, Relevance and Relationships. Please keep me posted with your positive thoughts and concerns as you follow this blog. GO PIRATES!!!! :)
