often suffer from isolation, insecurity and a poor self-image.

Kindergarten: We love you Dr. Seuss! Yes, we will be having a special birthday celebration on Thursday for the very best author of kindergarten books, Dr. Seuss!
 
1st Grade:
We are learning about nutrition with Rachel!
Title I:
Second Grade:  Just started their second Math book. We are working with numbers in the 100’s and 1,000’s. Students shared their books today for I love to read month. We are also celebrating Dr. Suess Day coming up on March 2.

This Week’s Theme is
Belonging:
“Everything is connected. The wing of the corn beetle affects the direction of the wind, the way the sand drifts, the way the light reflects into the eye of man beholding his reality. All is part of totality, and in this totality man finds his hozro, his way of walking in harmony, with beauty all around him.”


- Belonging is the idea of being part of something where you are accepted.
- To be and feel included and accepted within a social, religious, political, cultural and economic group.
- Belonging is the term used when the individual becomes involved in something;
it is the feeling of security where members may feel included, accepted, related, fit in, conformed and subscribed, which enhance their well-being with the feeling of home.
- Belonging is obtaining membership to a particular group or society that can bring
feelings of inclusion and identity.
- Belonging is the feeling of security and support when there is a sense of acceptance, inclusion
and identity to a member trying to fit into a certain group, place etc.
- Belonging is a term used to describe how an individual feels a sense of satisfaction and happiness.
It unites many people together as one.
- When an individual is accepted through the relationships and connections made with other individuals,
groups and family. This acceptance is dependent on context where, when and what.
