Good Morning, Victor Pirates
Quote Of The Day:
Steve Prefontaine ended up 4th at the 1972 Olympics in the 5,000 meters after running the final mile at 4 minute pace. After what he perceived as a failure he went to work even harder. At his death in 1975, he held every American record from 2,000 through 10,000 meters and was the favorite to win the 5,000 meters at the 1976 Olympics.

Applying Past Knowledge to new Situations: Use what is learned; Consider prior knowledge and experience; Apply knowledge beyond the situation in which it was learned.
The Victor FFA is hosting a Kiss the Cow Contest!!!
Through our fundraising the Heifer International Program twill donate a Heifer to a family in need, in Africa. The reason the Heifer International Program donates Livestock instead of just food or tractors, is because livestock helps families and communities start a business. If we give them livestock to raise and breed then they will be able to continue and grow in that process. How the contest is going to work is, we will set out bottles in the front office with the teachers names on them. Anyone can put money in the bottle of the teacher that they want to kiss the cow. In the end, the two teachers with the most money in their bottles will have to kiss a cow!!! All the money will then be given to Heifer International to donate a heifer to an African family!!! J
