Our lunch ladies get up at the crack of dawn and come to school to make you breakfast.  Respect that by being polite and respectful to them AND by going and grabbing some breakfast.  It's free, you know??

BPA Members- The payment for the hotel is due on Monday March 3 instead of this Thursday. 

High School Reward Trip is still scheduled for Monday morning.  You will go bowling and ice-skating.  Bring money for lunch or order a sack lunch from the kitchen.  Make sure you have turned in your permission slips.  Bus leaves at 9:30AM

Middle School Reward Trip is scheduled for Thursday, March 13.

Ski Bus!!!!  The Lone Rock Ski Bus will be running this Saturday.  8:00 a.m. at Cowboy Troy's.  If you are a skier or, better yet, a snowboarder, you need to be on this bus.  It's cheaper and easier than driving to the hill.  Also, if you are not there, we are going to talk about you all the way up and all they way back.

Way to go Pirates.  You had a great ride this season.  It was filled with ups and downs, all of which will serve you well in the future.  Garth Brooks said it best: “I could have missed the pain, but I would have had to miss the dance.” 

In the end, it is really about the dance, isn’t it?

We are proud of you Pirates and how you represent yourselves and our school with pride and integrity.

This is a film made by the students at Estacado High School in Lubbock Texas where my sister is a teacher.  It is cool that the students made the film because it shows what you can do and the influence you can have if you think in these terms, but the most important thing is the message.  It should resonate in all of us whether we are students, teachers, aids, administrators or parents.  Mr. J.

MS REWARD TRIP is on Monday and leaves at 9:30am.  Mr. Howell and Ms. Zeiler are chaperones.  Mr. Howell has the list and permission slips.  You will need a signed permission slip on Monday to attend.  If you have a permission slip today, give it to Mr. Howell. 

If you are in High School and love to cook here's a great opportunity to participate in The Community Cooking Connections program will start a new session in March.  If you are interested in this program, that teaches culinary, food service, and leadership skills let me know.  I have attached a menu that describes the program and you can view the program at

When boys win they will play at 4:15PM
