      February is Teen Dating Violence and Prevention  Month

            You don’t have to physically hurt someone to be abusive. Abuse can be emotional or verbal, too. We all make choices about our behavior. We can always choose to handle our feelings and conflicts in a healthy way. And, if you’re being abused – it’s not your fault. You can’t make someone hurt you – abuse is a choice. No one asks for it. Love is respect – and respect is someone honoring your boundaries, supporting your interests, being a good friend and loving you, just because you’re you.
