  TUTORING DUTY: Mr.Gulman
---------------------------------------------------------------------------
The “Healing Classrooms Challenge” has begun. Pirates are registered for the Students Rebuild Social Justice/Art event.

For each hand-made pinwheel you make, the Bezos Family Foundation will donate $2 to the International Rescue Committee which trains teachers to help displaced Syrian children cope with the trauma of becoming refugees. For these children, the classroom holds structure, fellowship, understanding and the coping tools and education to be successful in the future.

A sobering statistic: The average number of years a refugee spends being a refugee is 17 years, the equivalent of one childhood. The Pirates have so far raised almost $2000 for the “Healing Classrooms Challenge”. See Mrs. Ogden to help out.

$50 per event to a club, class or organization to clean up after ball games.
-only for Friday and Saturday games
See Mr. Pings or Mr. J. for more information.

BPA Fundraiser- Cookie Dough sales have started. Orders are due October 21.
