Armistice Day-
“At the 11th hour on the 11th day of the 11th month of 1918, the Great War ends. At 5 a.m. that morning, Germany, bereft of manpower and supplies and faced with imminent invasion, signed an armistice agreement with the Allies in a railroad car outside Compiégne, France.
The First World War left nine million soldiers dead and 21 million wounded, with Germany, Russia, Austria-Hungary, France, and Great Britain each losing nearly a million or more lives. In addition, at least five million civilians died from disease, starvation, or exposure.”
This day was commemorated, as the end of “The War to End All Wars,” until it became known as Veteran’s Day in 1954, following two more major conflicts in American History.

It is cold outside. Are you staying warm? Chances are you use propane. If that is the case bring ask your parents to bring the propane receipts to school. V-1 will pay the Student Council by the gallon for each receipts brought in. It is estimated that Victor area residents will consume 1 million gallons of propane this year. That could bring the Student Council a lot of Pirate Treasure.
Remember to bring in your propane receipts!!!!!!!
This week’s announcements are proudly brought to you by
Middle School Student Council
(Except for Mondays FFA Special)
