Found Hope and Joy
Peggy A. Orr - Facebook
Last week a piece I wrote was printed in the Sunday Ravalli Republic on the opinion page. I wrote about Missing Hope & Joy. Two steel yard stakes, Hope & Joy were stolen from my yard, they left Faith. Now you know I still have my hope & joy,but I missed seeing those lovely cut steel yard stakes.Anyway fast forward to yesterday: A sweet librarian, Amber Lynch, from Victor School Dist. came to my house with a lovely centerpiece & box of goodies from the staff & students, K-12. There were banners, JOY & HOPE, letters from the students of joy & hope and lovely gifts. I was so touched by their kindness and also by the life lessons they learned. The banners are hanging over my windows & doors where I have a beautiful reminder of the wonderful young people in our community. I look forward to these lovely students as our next leaders. They have good hearts! Can I just say, I love & appreciate each one of them. Three Cheers for Victor-K-12. You made my day so sweet. love, peg
-Thank you, Victor School, for making a difference. I am so proud of all of you, and I got to spend some time with an amazing woman who shows incredible strength and hope in the face of something truly horrific. You have all paid it forward and it will come back to you someday. I am so impressed with our entire school community. Not only did you show your holiday spirit, but your compassion and humanity. There is nothing as powerful as that. Thank you!
-Ms. Lynch
