Announcements from the Quarterdeck:
Kindergarten: Kindergarten will be celebrating 99 days of school next Wednesday. Be on the lookout for some cute 99 year old people hanging out in the kinder room.
1st Grade: The first grade went to the Post Office today to visit the “Take a Hike Station” and to celebrate the new WPA stamps. The Forest Service and Smokey the Bear were there to teach us about outdoor fun and safety in the Bitterroot.
2nd GRADE -The Second grade class went to the Victor Post Office to learn more about the forest service and fire prevention. They also submitted colored pictures to represent and promote the new poster and stamp that has been developed to promote forest safety and enjoying hiking in the wilderness. Their colored pictures will hang in the Post Office. They enjoyed treats that were provided and Smokey Bear came to visit. They were also given coloring books, crayons and a pencil as well. Mrs. Davis
3rd Grade: Thank you to Angie and Mrs. Martin for coming into our class and presenting an awesome Kelso’s Choice lesson!
4th Graders made “Magical Ravens” with Mrs. Ogden.
5th Grade:
The 5th graders continued their study of adaptations with our visiting naturalist, Christine. We examined and identified feathers and did an interesting flight experiment!
