Today commemorates a very tragic day in the history of America. Sixteen years ago, terrorists flew airplanes into American buildings. Nothing exemplifies the American Spirit in times of tragedy and turmoil like the story of Welles Crowther. It’s a good thing to remember in times of forest fires and hurricanes: helping others is what America is truly about.
