Announcements from the
Quarterdeck:
Kindergarten: We had a special guest today! Say hello to Mrs. Johnston!  
Check out Mr. Johnston’s new clothes in the elementary hallway. He is dressed
pretty fancy!




1st Grade :


Title I: Thanks to all of you for making our year in Title a
successful one. We are looking forward to seeing so many of
you for our awesome summer program! Keep reading this
summer!

Second Grade:  Second grade has been hard at work! They
have enjoyed partner reading this week. It’s always fun to
read with a buddy!
Third Grade:
Yay!!! It is almost summer! Not that we have been counting…
but there are only 5 Daysleft of
school!!!! Hooray!!!!



 


Fourth Grade:   Damien colored up a pretty nice sparrow for
the Audubon Society Calendar.




The fifth graders had a great time on their field trip to Fort
missoula. They got to work with some naturalists, observe birds,
check out some cool bugs and get bit by some annoying insects!
World Turtle Day happened 2 weeks ago!
the 4th Graders “SHELLEBRATED” by making turtles in out of
clay. It was turtley-awesome!
Fun Fact!
In the United States we have 57 unique kinds of turtles. around the
WORLD there are 300 total! Turtles live in fresh or saltwater and
tortoises are land dwellers. They are both reptiles, but belong to
different families.
4th graders also followed up on their Audubon studies with song
bird sculptures. They are ready to have the students paint on each
bird’s unique markings. Check out these sweet sculptures!
