Sophomores, the Hugh O'Brian Leadership Program or HOBY applications are in. Let Mrs. Martin know if you are interested in going to the conference in the spring. One sophomore from Victor High can be chosen to go, the sponsorship fee is paid. Desiree Charlton was the Victor High Representative last year, she will be presenting to Sophomores on her experience in English class and she would be a great person to ask for more info. about the program.
Middle School (grades 6-8) play auditions for Rebootilization are today after school in the theater until 6:30.  If you will be gone for FFA, meet in Ms. Lynch's room Thursday after school.  If you are interested in only doing tech, see Ms. Lynch sometime today or tomorrow.

For high school students that are interested… we will be attending Math Day at the University of Montana on Friday October 5th. It will include small workshops on various math topics and a career panel. For more information and to register contact Ms. Monta by Monday September 24th.

Also, those interested may attend the Missoula Math Circle which is an after school activity in which math topics are explored in more depth. For example topics like
(1)   What is infinity plus 1?
(2)   How can we make and break codes using mathematics?
(3)   Can I tell if a knot is a knot without unknotting it?

We will participate remotely and will meet at school on Thursdays from 3:30 – 5:00. The fall dates are October 11th, 18th, and 25th and November 1st, 8th, and 15th. Spring dates will be announced later.

Come and join us….. it will be fun!! (and it looks good on your resume)

Feel the Love!
