A Chance to show solidarity, support and care:
The Eleventh Annual Take Back the Night will be held on Wednesday, April 20. The event raises awareness about the issue of sexual violence in our community, and promotes healthy, safe relationships.
Take Back the Night will begin at Hamilton’s Legion Park on Second Street at 7pm. From there, participants will walk to the Main Street Bridge and Bitterroot River for a short tribute to survivors, inspiration and refreshments.
MINES (Making Innovations in Engineering and Sciences) – Summer Camp for Young Women will take place on the Montana Tech campus June 19th – 24th. MINES is for current freshman and sophomore girls who are interested in Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. Each day is filled with interactive STEM field camps and each evening will be filled with fun events. MINES is expected to fill to capacity with 30 young women from across the country and admission is competitive. You can find more information at www.mtech.edu/mines-camp. The application materials must be postmarked by this Friday, April 15th in order to be considered. If you have questions, you can email the MINES Camp Administrator by calling 406-496-4568 or emailing scrowe@mtech.edu.
