Good Morning Pirates

Quote of the Day:

To be ignorant of of what occurred before you were born is to remain always a child. For what is the worth of human life, unless it is woven into the life of our ancestors by the records of history?

                       -Marcus Tullius Cicero,

                       Roman Statesman and Orator

Today marks the 13th anniversary of the attacks on the World Trade Center, the attack on the Pentagon and the failed attack by United Airlines Flight 93. This plane was brought down by passengers who realized the intent when terrorists gained control. The destination is believed to have been either the White House or the Capital Building.

In remembrance, we often talk about various singular incidents and  replay videos of some of the heroes of that day, "The Man in the Red Bandana," "The Heroes of Flight 93," etc. Sometimes, we forget the actual event itself. Today, we'll watch a video detailing that day, as New York, and the world, saw it unfold.

Where were you when it happened?
