Safety tips for a fun and safe Halloween

Most kids know how to be safe, but sometimes the excitement of Halloween makes us a little forgetful.
-Make sure drivers can see you and that you can see through your mask or costume in order to navigate safely.
-Let your folks know who you are with and where you are going. Your family wants you to be safe so honor your curfew. (It may be a pain, but they love you and they want you back home).
-Adults love Halloween, too, but your neighbors want you to be respectful of their homes. Put some effort into your costumes, play the part positively and please remember to thank them when they give you candy. If Snickers and Smarties grew on trees you wouldn't have to go begging door to door, would you?
-Respect the fun of younger trick-or-treaters.
-Be kind to animals, and be aware of pets who are protecting their homes.
