There will be a middle school dance Saturday, April 5 from 7-10 pm. Cost $7 per person. Dress is informal and tickets will be available at the door.

Juniors still need Christmas lights for prom decorations. Please bring them to the library and label them with your name. Thank you.

Victor High School prom is Friday, April 4.  Doors open at 7:00 pm. Grand March is at 8:00 pm. Last dance plays at midnight. Cost is $30 - single, $40 - couple. Price goes up $5 at the door. The theme is Neon Masquerade. Tickets are being sold in the library. If you have an out-of-town guest, the paperwork needs to be completed and turned into Mr. Johnston.

The juniors are also selling LED light flashing shutter shades for prom. Cost - $5. They are available for purchase in the library.

Juniors wanting to decorate for prom must have a grade of C or better in order to be excused from class.

Don't forget to order your high school yearbook. Quantities are limited. Cost is $45. See Mrs. Taylor or any yearbook staff member to order. You can also order online from home at yearbookforever.com.

Starts on Wednesday for:

6th Grade

Mon -Thurs and Friday 8-10 am .  Cost is $235.00 to be paid in full before you can begin class.  Sign up sheet is at the front office.

Attention Freshman: The Rotary Club is Sponsoring a Leadership Camp that has sponsorship paid for some lucky students. The camp will take place on July 15 through the 19th. Emily Walling was chosen last year, so you can ask her for details. Applications are Due by March 31 to the counseling office.
Pick up an application today in the counseling office if you are interested in being a candidate.

There will be an Honor Roll breakfast next Tuesday morning at 7:45AM, in the gym, for those students who made the Honor Roll last semester.  You should have received an invitation for you and your parents.  Congratulations Honor Roll students!!!!

Last Ski Trip this weekend!!!!! Lone Rock Bus leaves Cowboy Troy's at 8:00 Saturday morning!!!! The Bus Driver would like everyone to bring money to eat pizza at Pizza Hut in Hamilton after skiing.  $3 for Pizza.  Save your scheckels and celebrate with the Ski Bus Crew.

An estimated 780 million people around the world without access to safe drinking water. The hardest hit countries are Ghana and Tanzania. 

If you are one of many Victor students from 5th beads for Tanzania, you rock! Team “Victor Pirates” is credited with 3000 paper beads for the Students Rebuild “Water Challenge” which will provide 150 people with safe drinking water for a year. Combined with other teams nationwide, 16,000 people will benefit through community water projects.

More good news; the artist, Vik Muniz, will be creating a sculpture using all the paper beads created for the Water Challenge. Some of you know about Vik Muniz from the art documentary, "Wasteland". It is about the world's largest landfill located in Brazil, and the people who worked there to recycle waste materials. They collaborated with the artist and now, you will, too! Check out this trailer for “Wasteland”:
