Counseling Office News:

A big THANK YOU to ALL STUDENTS and our very supportive STAFF! Thank you for being on board for the“2017 Christmas Tree Experience” poetry/ornament project for the National Park Service in Washington D.C. Your poems will be put on the Montana State Tree in President’s Park with other trees from U.S. states and territories.
Our Guest Poet, Caroline Patterson, was very impressed with your poems and Victor’s unique connection between students from the different grades! We saw a lot of talent!

Ms. Patterson told a few of you that her mother used to teach at Victor School while her father was attending Law School. (This is called earning your “PHT” or Putting Hubby Through). Here is her picture in the old Victor School yearbook from 1950! Mrs. Patterson was delighted to hear that her daughter had spent time with you. She’s still sharp and beautiful and would like to come meet you all and see how the school has changed.

Great job, POETS and Student Mentors.
Fun Fact! The National Christmas Tree which goes on the west lawn of the U.S. Capitol Building will be chosen from the Kootenai National Forest which is in Northwest Montana near the Canadian border.

PICTURE RETAKES WILL BE OCTOBER 17TH FROM 8:30-9:30AM AT VICTOR SCHOOL!
