THIS WEEKS THEME IS:

Leadership and Responsibility

Think about LEADERSHIP and RESPONSIBILITY
in terms of what YOU can do to create the change
you want to see in your world.

Let’s define the problem our oceans face.

A big resource for me in my classroom,
this year was National Geographic.
Here’s an inspirational teacher
who competed for a National Geographic
Grosvener Fellowship and got to travel-big time!

Please remember our Students Rebuild
Social Justice Challenge.
For each fish or ocean-related artwork you make,
the Bezos Family Foundation will donate $2
towards ocean restoration and science education.

“Mausoleum of the Giants” features room-sized sculpture
installations in Sheffield, England by the street artist,
Phlegm. The characters are based on mythology,
and they first appeared in his mural work.
Now these giant wood, wire and papier mache forms
are housed in a former kitchen and pocket knife factory,
called, Taylor’s Eye Witness Works.

Here is a local story about a woman who trains dogs
to locate invasive species and also endangered species
in order to help maintain a more balanced landscape.
