Yesterday, Mrs. Grove and Mr. Hansen took the high school physics class to the University of Montana for a day.

Students got to perform a real college physics lab and attend a college physics lecture.  The students also visited with some college physics students who have built a machine (called a spectroscope) that separates sunlight into all its rainbow colors.  They gave the Victor students special glasses to look through that make everything look like rainbows.  Mrs. Grove regrets that she forgot to take pictures of our Victor students with their rainbow glasses on.  This is an approximation of what they looked like:

The physics students also got to tour the campus including seeing a real college dorm room and visiting the hallway where they keep the Tyrannosaurus Rex.

This field trip was Mrs. Grove's last day of student teaching with Victor students.  Mrs. Grove wrote this to let everybody know that she had a really great time here in your wonderful school.  Thanks to everybody who was kind to me, and thank you for letting me practice my teaching skills in your classes.  I'll miss you guys!

Don't miss out on the memories! It's not too late to order a yearbook. Cost is $45 and you can reserve yours with just $20 down and pay the rest when they arrive at school.  See any yearbook member or Mrs. Taylor to order.

The Montana AIR National Guard, recruiter will be here on Wednesday, April 24. Let Mrs. Martin know if you would like to see him.
There will be a High School Student Council and Honor Society meeting at lunchtime on Wednesday, April 24th in the Library. We will be planning for Teacher Appreciation Week and the Blood Drive.
