Counseling Office News: Its College Application Week in Montana and part of the celebration is hearing from staff members about their college experience. Mr. Beckwith sent this info……….
I went to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona from 1981 to 1986.  Flagstaff sits on the Colorado Plateau at 7,000 ft. above sea level and the San Fransisco peaks tower over the town at nearly 13,000 feet. It is a city of 7 wonders and gets more snowfall than the Bitterroot.  The Grand Canyon is 80 miles away and offers incredible hiking and white water rafting.  In 1985, I became the class 3 racquetball champion for the State of Arizona.  College life was one of the best times of my life and I am looking forward to visiting Flagstaff in a couple weeks visiting college friends, and hiking in Arizona.  Your education is the one thing no one can take away from you.”

If you are interested in serving as a summer intern for a Senator in Missoula or Washington DC come pick up info in the counseling office.
