Hey, Pirates! In honor of International Octopuses Day I just wanted to share this drawing by the late, great Victor Hugo.

The drawing is made from coal dust and coffee. WHAT?
Victor Hugo wrote Les Miserables and The Hunchback of Notre Dame.
But did you know he was also a member of the French Parliament in 1848?
He was able to support the social causes he cared about, until Napoleon came into power.
Hugo had to go into exile on the Island of Guernsey. He drew a lot of pictures during that time!
