This Week’s Theme - “Spirit of Adventure”

  • A reminder that our theme this week is “Sense of Adventure”
    • For Ethos yesterday, Victor School showed images
    • of a somewhat domesticated bear being fed by two people
    • who clearly know it, and have spent time around it.
    • While this fits with sense of adventure,
    • we want to be clear that bears are wild animals,
    • and should not be approached.
    • The Department Fish, Wildlife & Game,
    • as well as many city/county governments,
    • highly discourage feeding wild animals, particularly bears.
    • Many have laws specifically prohibiting that.

“I went to the woods because I wished to live deliberately,
to front only the essential facts of life,
and see if I could not learn what it had to teach,
and not, when I came to die, discover that I had not lived.”
-Henry David Thoreau

Don’t give up on your adventure, no matter the setbacks
